oh boy

well its offical... baby is a boy! this proves two things; a: the chinese birthing chart is crap and b: i have absolutely no maternal instincts (i was sure it was a girl) however i couldn't be happier. and suprisingly neither could bryson. we went in for our ultrasound tuesday and it was such a cool experience. what is not cool is that they make you drink a whole bunch of water and then press on your bladder for a half hour. the first the nurse said when we started the ultrasound is "oh my you have a tiny bladder!" no? really? i almost peed on the table. after that she found the baby and the first thing we saw was his little pee pee. i think he was excited to show it to us because we have been calling him a girl for the past five months. oops. he even grabbed himself at one point. isn't he classy? it was so fun seeing him kicking and moving although i still couldn't feel any of it :( the dr said i should in a couple of weeks. the little man was bent in half most of the time so the lady doing the ultrasound couldn't get a good look at his heart so we get to go back in four weeks for another ultrasound. which is fine by me! just this time i won't drink so much dang water. 16oz is a lot for someone who's bladder is the size of a pea! now we just have to get ready for the little guy to come!
